What we see locally

Small signs deserve a closer look.

Most of our termite calls start when a homeowner notices something unusual.

FOUNDATIONS & WALLS

Mud tubes. Unexpected dirt.

We commonly find mud tubes along foundations or coming through wall cracks. Dirt where it shouldn’t be is another clue worth checking. We also encounter activity in attics.

BATHROOMS & PLUMBING

Pay attention to moisture.

Bathrooms and plumbing penetrations are common areas of activity on our inspections. Gaps around these areas can provide access, and moisture can create favorable conditions.

OLDER HOMES & NEWER HOMES

Age isn’t a guarantee.

We encounter termite problems more often in older homes, but newer homes can have them too. Both slab homes and homes with crawl spaces can be affected. Wood touching soil deserves particular attention.

Understand the evidence.
Choose the next step.

Show us what you’ve noticed and share any previous treatment records. We look for live termites, new tubes and evidence of tube rebuilding, alongside the condition of existing tubes.

Moisture and tube color are clues—not proof on their own. Old damage or an empty tube alone cannot establish whether termites are currently active.

From inspection to ongoing protection

A plan for your home.

Active termite treatment and preventative protection start differently.

01

Inspect and quote

We assess the home, its size and the level of activity before recommending the work and quoting your service.

02

Treat active areas

For active infestations, we combine liquid treatment with bait stations around the foundation. Trenching generally focuses on areas of activity. Bathroom plumbing areas may also receive foam treatment.

03

Reach the treatment area

Drilling through concrete is sometimes needed to reach the soil beneath. We try to avoid drilling where possible, but some homes require it.

04

Install preventative stations

When we find no current activity, we install protective bait stations around the home. These are also part of our approach to active infestations.

05

Reinspect around 90 days

After treating an active infestation, we return for a home inspection about 90 days later, paying particular attention to the areas of previous activity.

06

Maintain ongoing protection

We inspect bait stations annually and replace bait based on activity and excessive decay. If you notice new signs between inspections, contact us.

Allow time for the work. Visits usually take about 4–5 hours and can take up to 8 hours, depending on whether the work is preventative or addresses active termites.

Questions we hear

Termite control questions.

Do bait stations attract termites to my home?

They do not lure termites from a distance. Foraging termites encounter stations while searching for food in the soil. Finding termites in a station does not by itself mean your house is infested.

Will removing the damaged wood get rid of the termites?

Removing a food source does not necessarily eliminate the colony. Subterranean termites generally nest in soil and travel to wood to feed; some can maintain above-ground nests when moisture is available. Treatment needs to address the infestation, not just the visible wood.

Is the termite inspection free?

Yes. We offer free inspections to assess termite concerns and preventative needs. We do not offer inspections or wood-destroying insect reports for real estate transactions.

How often are bait stations checked?

We inspect stations annually and replace bait based on signs of activity and excessive decay. Monthly renewal payments spread out the annual cost; they do not mean monthly station visits.

What happens after an active infestation is treated?

We perform a follow-up home inspection about 90 days after the original treatment, focusing especially on previously active areas. Contact us if you notice new signs before that visit.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers retreatment while coverage is in effect. Customers with covered bait-station plans receive treatment for subsequent termite activity at no additional charge. Termite damage and repair costs are not covered.

Can I purchase termite service without general pest control?

Yes. Standalone termite plans are available, with an initial installation/treatment fee and an annual renewal paid in monthly installments.

What about children, pets and landscaping?

Tell us about children, pets and landscaping concerns when requesting your inspection. Ask about preparation and access for your specific treatment, including any trenching or drilling. Follow the product-specific treatment and re-entry instructions provided for the work; this page does not set a universal re-entry time.
