Rodent control.
Start outside.
Close the gaps.
Mice in the garage? Scratching in the attic? We inspect for entry points, manage activity around your home and set indoor traps when needed—with basic exclusion available as a separate service.
Your plan includes preventative rodent control and trapping. Entry-point sealing is quoted separately.
Different homes.
Different rodent problems.
These are patterns we encounter on North Texas service visits. Tell us what you’re seeing at your home.
Mice in the garage
We often find mice in newer neighborhoods near fields and empty lots. A small gap at the garage door is a common way we see them get inside.
A newer home can still have an opening worth checking.
Rats finding a route in
In older parts of town, we encounter more roof rats and Norway rats. We’ve seen rats travel along fences, climb brick walls and follow AC lines toward attic entry points.
That’s why we look beyond gaps at ground level.
Meadow voles outdoors
We also encounter meadow voles, often at homes with a backyard garden. We offer vole treatment as well; mention outdoor activity when you request your inspection.
Our inspection helps us discuss the work needed at your property.
Follow the activity.
Find the openings.
The calls we hear most involve scratching in the attic, droppings, or rodents spotted outside—sometimes on a homeowner’s outdoor camera.
Show us where you’ve noticed activity. We inspect the home for entry points and discuss prevention, trapping and any basic exclusion work needed.

Prevention outside.
A plan for activity inside.
The work depends on where rodents are active and how they’re getting in.
Exterior bait stations
Most of our rodent work starts with managing activity outside. We use exterior bait stations as part of our service plans to help reduce the rodent population around the home.
Weighted and locked
Our bait boxes are weighted to stay where we place them and locked to limit access by children and dogs. Tell us about children and pets when we discuss station placement.
Indoor snap traps
When rodents are active indoors, we place snap traps in the areas where activity is occurring. Tell us where you’ve heard scratching, found droppings or seen rodents.
A two-week trap follow-up
We return in two weeks to check for activity and dispose of captured rodents. You don’t have to handle the caught rodents yourself.
Seal the entry points
Basic exclusion can address garage gaps, roofline openings and gaps around AC lines. When rodents are getting indoors, we stage the sealing work with trapping, closing the final opening after the indoor rodents have been addressed.
Maintain exterior protection
We check and replenish exterior bait on a quarterly or every-other-month schedule, depending on the customer’s service plan. Ongoing maintenance and closing entry points are central to our approach.

Keep up the prevention.
Our approach combines addressing access into the home with ongoing exterior baiting. Rodents are part of the surrounding environment, and outdoor activity can change.
If you notice fresh signs indoors or new activity on a camera, let us know where and when you’re seeing it so we can discuss the next step.
Clear limits on cleanup
Limited droppings cleanup may be part of a job, but we do not provide full attic cleanouts. We’ll discuss the scope of exclusion and related work during your inspection.
Why we emphasize prevention
Rodents nesting and damaging insulation can turn a small opening into a much larger repair. We focus on managing activity and addressing entry points before that problem grows.
Rodent control questions.
Is the rodent inspection free?
Yes. We inspect the exterior, garage, attic, roofline and the area where AC lines enter the home. We pay particular attention to weep-hole openings and garage-door gaps.
Does rodent control come with my pest plan?
Complete Home Protection and Premium Home Protection include preventative rodent control and trapping for rodent activity. Exclusion work is a separate service, quoted job by job.
Can I book exclusion without a pest plan?
Yes. We offer basic exclusion work without a general pest plan. Ongoing preventative rodent work is part of our service plans.
Will I have to remove rodents caught in traps?
No. We set the indoor snap traps and return in two weeks to check activity and dispose of captured rodents.
What should I know about children and pets?
Our exterior bait stations are weighted to stay in place and locked to limit access by children and dogs. Let us know about children and pets before placement. Keep them away from bait stations and traps, and follow the instructions discussed for your service.
Do you seal rodent entry points?
Yes. We offer basic exclusion around garage gaps, rooflines and AC lines. For indoor activity, we coordinate sealing with trapping rather than closing the final opening at the start. Exclusion is quoted separately.
How often do you maintain bait stations?
We check and replenish bait quarterly or every other month, depending on the customer’s service plan. Indoor trapping has a separate two-week follow-up.
Do you handle voles or full attic cleanouts?
We treat meadow voles as well as mice and rats. We may provide limited droppings cleanup during a job, but we do not offer full attic cleanouts.
